This past Monday I was listening to a radio program and the teacher was talking about everyone commenting on the baby Jesus. Then he posed the question, "Who is the baby Jesus?" As I thought about his question Matthew 1:23 came to my mind. In this passage we are told that Mary was going to have a son and His name would be called "Immanuel" which means "God with us." That is who baby Jesus is; God! And we are told in John 7:39 that whoever believes in Jesus the Holy Spirit would be given to them. Not only that is true but Jesus said in John 14:16 that the Holy Spirit would dwell in us forever! The believer is never separated from the Holy Spirit. As we go through this busy time of the year let us not forget who baby Jesus is and where He lives!

I was thinking about the same thing while in the car today. I was wondering what it must have been like to actually hold God in your arms. I was thinking how blessed Mary and Joseph were, but reading this post reminds me that we are even more blessed to have the Holy Spirit living IN us.

Thanks for the reminder!
