Preparation for Worship - August 16

Call to Worship from 1 Peter 3:18; Revelation 5:13

• Leader: Christ suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that He might bring us to God.
  
  
• People: The Lamb who was slain is worthy to receive glory and blessing! To Him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be blessing and honor and glory and might forever and ever! Amen!

Invocation

• All: O LORD, we praise You, for we are fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are Your works; we are not worthy to be called Your children, but are thankful You have adopted us and enabled us to see Your kingdom. Search us, O God, and know our hearts. Try us and know our thoughts. And see if there are any grievous ways in us, and lead us in the way everlasting. Amen.
