Preparation for Worship - October 4

Time of Meditation
Bless the LORD, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless His holy name
Call to Worship Psalm 103:6
Leader: The LORD works righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed.
People: The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love.
Leader: He does not deal with us according to our sins,
People: Nor repay us according to our iniquities. As a father shows compassion to his children, so the LORD shows compassion to those who fear Him.
Opening Prayer

Father, may Your name be praised above all other names in our worship this morning.  Forgive us for our desires that fall short of Your glory and deliver us from the evil of this world.  Help us to work out our salvation with fear and trembling while producing the fruit of Your Holy Spirit living in us.  We want to worship You in Spirit and truth and ask for this in the name of Christ, our Savior.  Amen.
