November 8 - Preparation for Worship

Time of  Meditation & Preparation Revelation 19:6

Hallelujah!  For the Lord our God the Almighty reigns.

The Call to Worship* (From 1 Chronicles 16:28-34)

Leader: Ascribe to the LORD the glory due His name; bring an offering and come before Him!  Worship the LORD in the splendor of holiness;

People:  Tremble before Him, all the earth.  Let the earth rejoice, and let them say among the nations, “The Lord reigns!”

All: Oh give things to the LORD, for He is good; for His steadfast love endures forever!

The Prayer for Help ( From 1 Chronicles 16:35-36)

Save us, O God of our salvation, that we may give thanks to Your holy name, and glory in Your praise.  Please make us more watchful and prayerful so that evil fruit does not spring from the evil seeds our hands have sown.  Help us honor Your name as we worship this morning. We need You and ask for Your help.  In Christ we pray.  Amen.
